Redness of the penis, leading causes

The symptoms of redness of the penis, may include the following:

* Redness of the penis occurs on the shaft or head of the male member
Redness of the penis* The penis turns red and itchy,
* A red spot appears on the penis,
* The head of the penis turns red,

* Red lumps or spots appear on the penis; cracks, crevices or cuts are evident in the head and body of the male member
* You feel tender or painful urination and underwear causes irritation.

A favorable news, is that these laments occur very regularly, and are in most cases, caused by a simple condition and easy cure.

Usually, these complaints are caused by friction and inadequate attention before, during and after intimate encounters. As crazy as it sounds, the penis has to be taken care of regularly to make sure it stays strong with the elastic, delicate and sensitive skin that is able to withstand any form of puncture.

Let's be sensible, most men do not reason or take into account, that the skin of the penis is very delicate.

Proper lubrication is not used during intimate relationships, and the health of the delicate skin of the penis is not taken care of. Then they wonder why the penis has redness, red spots, and bumps appear, along with red marks and abrasions on the penis.

However, in some cases a reddening of the penis, is caused by some cause rather than the lack of attention. In some cases there are other, more serious causes of redness of the penis.

These include the following:

Allergic Reactions: These can be caused by condom lubricants, the difference between the pH levels of the vagina and male sperm, as well as the ingredients used in detergents and soaps. These can be some causes that may have an adverse effect, and cause it to become inflamed and reddening occurs in the penis.

Skin Diseases: Dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema are common skin diseases that can affect the color of the male member.

Sexually transmitted diseases and infections: Inguinal ringworm, herpes, and candida (thrush) are the most common conditions, in addition to balanitis, an inflammatory disease of the penis.

More symptoms of redness of the penis:

Usually, when the penis becomes red and swollen, minor cuts or abrasions may appear on the shaft and head, along with red spots, lumps or blemishes.

Redness may decrease during periods of inactivity, but may reappear when activity in intimate relationships returns again. These can be oral, anal or vaginal, and include masturbation or even an erotic dance. It may also occur itching, pain when urinating or pain when touched, and skin peeling.

Treatment of redness of the penis

First, abstain from any intimate activity, until the cause of the redness of the penis is determined.

If you continue to have intercourse, it will not only aggravate the situation, but it will increase penis irritation, red spots and peeling of the penile skin, but it can also make recovery much slower.

For the treatment of allergic reactions, it is recommended to change the marks of condoms, lubricating oils, detergents and soaps.

Start with a product first, change this, and try to progressively different brands to see if this eliminates the problem of redness of the penis. Also showering or using a damp cloth to cleanse the genitals after having intimate relationships. This dilutes PH levels of sperm or vaginal secretions and reduces the chances of allergic reactions occurring.

Skin diseases, sexually transmitted diseases and infections are a little more difficult to diagnose and will require a visit to a doctor, urologist or dermatologist for effective treatment to be offered.

However, before considering any of the more serious conditions, it is recommended to examine the most common cause of a red penis, which is friction and insufficient care of the penis, and should follow a penile health recovery program with the creams.

This is relatively simple, and involves the use of a specific cream for penis care, recommended by a physician. A good penile skin health cream, contains essential vitamins and minerals that care, maintain and moisturize the skin of the penis and aid in healing.

Note: If the symptoms persist and the redness is not calming, or the condition is getting worse after following this program of care for more than 7 days, it is recommended to consult a urologist.
